The second stop for EMOP season 2, will bring us to the Canary Islands and Las Palmas. We play the tournament in Casino Las Palmas and most of the qualifiers will stay in Hotel Santa Catalina and Hotel Meliá Las Palmas.
The EMOP tournament is the largest tournament ever played in the Canarys and besides the thrill of poker at nightfall, we will have time for some golf, shopping or visiting the beach during daytime.

Hotel Santa Catalina
A hotel suite in English Colonial style, built in 1890, and totally renovated in the years 1998 and 2005.
It has been declared Historical Artistic Monument.
Its location, in Ciudad Jardín, inside a sub-tropical park opposite a sports harbour and half way, either the historical centre or the comercial areas.
The Hotel Santa Catalina is only aprox. 200 meters from shopping centre, outdoor cafés and restaurants.

Hotel Meliá Las Palmas
The Meliá Las Palmas hotel is located right alongside Las Canteras beach and in the city's commercial district.
The hotel offer leisure like an outdoor swimming pool (heated during wintertime),
a discotheque and a free gym for its guests.
For the hungry guests Hotel Meliá Las Palmas offers a beach-view restaurant,

Transport
The Las Palmas(LPA) airport is located 25 kilometres from the city centre, you can easily arrive to the hotel by taxi in aproximately 20 minutes(€30). There is also a frequent bus service during all day, that will take you to the Central Station, in San Telmo Park, 5 minutes drive from our hotel (there is a taxi stop next to the station).
